Overall very unimpressed, especially for being in Leawood. The AC also wouldn’t go below 73 so it was too hot to sleep well. No big deal usually except there is only one set of stairs you can use to go up at the opposite end of the building. We had to take the stairs to the 4th floor. On our way back to the hotel the fire department was there bc the elevators broke and some teenage boys were trapped in them. Dirty washcloths, someone’s old food in the fridge, blood spots on the bathroom floor, black stuff all over the sink.
Came back two hour later and she finally had a room for us. She told me I was 2 in line for a room and would call when it was ready. The room you select and pay for may not be the room you actually get. I was told that you have to be a part of Hilton to choose your room and if you are not then you have to wait until there is a room available. Be sure to join us Monday through Thursday in the evenings between 5:30-7:30 pm when guests can wind down their day at our Welcome Home Reception featuring complimentary beer, wine, sodas and a light dinner with salad bar.When I arrived an hour after we could check in I was told there was no room for us even though we had prepaid.
